Krystil Borrouso Lawton has been the owner and editor of LSCR since 2010.
She oversaw the creation of the LSCR website and research database and
implemented the email subscription option, putting LSCR into the hands of more
lawyers and judges. She is dedicated to maintaining the excellence that readers
have come to expect from LSCR and welcomes comments, suggestions, or
questions from subscribers.
Krystil is a Loyola University New Orleans Presidential Scholar and 1988
graduate, with a B.A. in Political Science, as well as a 1991 graduate of Loyola
Law School, where she served on the National Moot Court Team and editorial
board of the Loyola Law Review. She is a former law clerk to the Honorable
Judge Adrian G. Duplantier, United States District Court for the Eastern District of
Louisiana. She has practiced law for more than twenty-five years and earned an
AV Preeminent Rating.
Krystil also serves the Bar Association of the Fifth Federal Circuit as Contributing Editor
to its Daily Commentary and as its Online Media Editor.
